For elementary-age children, could shared interactive exploration of a photograph provide a rich, engaging alternative to dominant social-media models?

That's the premise of "Image Tale", a proposal the KidCitizen team submitted to the OpenIDEO challenge "Designing for Digital Thriving" last week.

And we made the first evaluation cut!
